Yup. Salon had prepared for a weekend of writing about all that Farrah
did for us- like showing the digusting disparity in health care the
pretty people get (that one poster was hot - for 1972), showing that
if you didn't have Farrah hair you were a no one, and, lastly, on her
cancer show getting more upset over her life than her hair- until it
fell out; not surprisingly she died the next week.
By comparison Michael Jackson was a boy musical genius and probably
the best pure song and dance man in American history.
Leave it to Salon to ignore the act of being your speed. Salon is so
literary that it has no ear for numbers or music. I admit it though -
darned great writing on Salon! But can't they find a music person
(hint).
